Microbial Identification

This service identifies microorganisms at the genetic level through targeted sequence analysis of bacteria and fungi (yeast/fungi).

Sample Type

  • Non-pathogenic strains: cell (plate or tube) or genomic DNA
  • Pathogenic strains: inactivated cells or genomic DNA
    (Infectious strains must be submitted as extracted gDNA.)

  • PCR is performed using multiple primer sets and the resulting sequences are provided.

Custom Microbial Identification

  • This service quantitatively confirms the presence of microorganisms in suspected contaminated samples through enrichment, plating, and viable count, and then identifies the contaminating microorganism using CES (Capillary Electrophoresis Sequencing).
